JellieShift is a casual, 2D puzzle-platformer where you play as an adventurous, hue-shifting blob who must navigate a mysterious underwater environment, solving puzzles to find the end portal and make your escape. Discover crystals that grant you strange abilities, and use these curious powers to shoot and alter the world around you while collecting treasures along the way!

As Creative Director and Lead Artist/Designer on this project, I have gained a lot of valuable experience with project management, scoping, design and iteration pipelines, and playtesting, among other things. I have developed strong leadership and communication skills, and have refined my methods of communicating my creative vision for the game to my team.

Stemming from my roots studying cognitive sciences, my love for teaching and learning shines through my logical and careful level design - and with iteration and player testing, I am pleased to see players think and engage with my puzzles in the manner I intended.

As the principal artist, I created all of the visual assets for the game, including pixel art, key art, and visual effects, which have all been a joy to work on.

I have also contributed a lot to the project management and producer side of things, heading weekly team meetings, managing and majorly writing documents (including design documents, briefs, presentation scripts), monitoring task progress, and managing scope.

JellieShift was chosen to be part of the 2025 SXSW Sydney Student Games Showcase from October 13-14, held at ICC Sydney. This was a fantastic experience where we saw a lot of interest and support for our game.
